Gas RC helicopters

Most RC hobbyists have electric-powered vehicles. Few are brave enough to handle gas powered ones. Gas RC helicopters are particularly complex machines to operate and can easily dissuade beginners from trying it. And the costs are higher since most electric ones have become a lot more affordable.

But experienced hobbyists find flying gas RC helicopters very rewarding. If you are ready to take the jump from electric RC helicopters, it is best to start with an entry level gas helicopter. There are different models and brands to choose from so choose carefully. If you are not yet fully confident to fly a gas RC helicopter, you can try using a simulator first. And when you have gained confidence, you can take your own helicopter and start flying on your own.
