Maisto’s New Line of Products

The Maisto brand of die cast replicas is relatively new. It was registered by May Cheong, a Hong Kong based company in 1990. The company however has been manufacturing similar products for over 40 years and has over 11,000 employees working for them worldwide. The Maisto product line consists of die cast collectibles, radio controlled and infra red vehicles including cars, motorcycles and airplanes. They come in all kinds of shapes, scales and features.
Maisto has been in the news lately regarding their tie-up with Marvel Entertainment. The agreement allows Maisto to produce and market die-cast vehicles and play sets based on Marvel characters and brands. This will include Super Hero Squad, classic Marvel properties, and Marvel Studios’ popular films, Iron Man 2, Thor, and The Avengers. The new Maisto RC product line will bring characters that children love to life in a new way. Maisto is now busy setting the ground work for Fans Clubs that will drum up interest in these products.
