Promised Gift

My brother and I are extremely close, something which had developed due to the fact that we lost both our parents at such a young age. Growing up with my aunt’s family, there were instances when our cousins would gang up on us and we had to remain together in order to fight them off. We were so happy when we were able to get out of that house, and promised to look out for each other no matter what.

We now live in one apartment and still remained close over the years. These days though life has been more than comfortable, with my older brother successful in his own line of career. The other week this package with my name on it was delivered to our doorstep, and I was shocked when the RC corsair I always wanted was inside it. It made me smile knowing that my brother never forgot about what he promised to give me regardless of how busy he was.

Like A Kid

My older sisters would always tell me that no matter how old I am, I still seem to not have matured over the years. I simply shut them off by telling them that this is my way to stay young, the same way they make use of all that beauty products just to maintain their youthful appearance. They tell me this because I still happen to be a fan of toys; I even collect a lot of them despite my age.

One of the things I love in my collection is a radio controlled plane. This was given to me by my girlfriend a few years back, something that I have wanted when I was little but my parents refused to give me since they knew how notorious I can get for breaking things and causing damage. This is the highlight of my entire collection, something I always enjoy using.

Weekend Relaxation

The weekends are the only time I get to relax without anyone having to disturb me. Owning a company may seem to sound great, but there is so much work and stress involved in making sure that the company stays afloat over the years. And for a new entrant like me in the market, I would still need to make my presence known in the industry to improve on the standing of the business.

During the weekends I make it a point to do things that will allow me to take my mind off work. I usually ask my buddies to get out with me and fly a few RC electric helicopters, something we have long been doing ever since we were in college. This is one thing I never really grew tired off, and helps me feel as if I had no problems in the world for even just a short while.

High Energy

My kids and I are finally spending the weekend together. I have been very busy with work lately, and had to leave the country for a business stint, and it took me three weeks before I can schedule to get my kids from my ex-wife. We have stayed friends all these years for the kids, and we promised each other never to let any of our issues get in the way of being the best parents for our children.

I have the full day planned for them as soon as I pick them up. We will be racing RC cars the entire day with a few of my buddies and their kids too, so I expect everything to be chaotic from this point on. I have the truck loaded with the RC cars, radio transmitters and RC batteries to make sure that we have everything we need for a fun-filled day. Being a father is indeed one of the best feelings in the world.

One of the hobbies which I enjoy is collecting and playing with RC toys. This is something which I acquired from my brother, who used to collect a number of planes back when we were in college. We may have grown up and have our own families, but this is the one thing from our childhood that we never really grew tired of.

Every now and then I would need to maintain my collection in order to keep them in good working condition. I usually order RC parts from the internet so I would not have any problems with running out of the parts which I need. Most stores selling these parts in the area will not have everything I need available, so it is much more convenient to go online and deal with only one supplier.

Radio Control

My nephew and I would usually hang out on weekends so his mom, who happens to be my sister, can go to work. She has adopted my nephew a few years back, and has been taking care of him ever since. After a painful divorce, my sister took it upon herself to find a way to have her own family with or without a husband. This was her option to deal with this issue.

This is why I would always support my sister whenever I can to make sure that the child grows up with a father figure. I got one of those RC model airplanes for myself and would always get him out to play with the toy with me during the weekends that we are together. This provides me the opportunity to keep him busy and pre-occupied while his mom is gone.

Stress Release

Working in the office for long hours in a week can be really draining and stressful. This is the reason why when the weekend comes I try to drop everything and focus on having fun. I need to release the tension I feel and focus on any relaxing activities I can think of in order to forget everything even for just two days. This helps me loosen up and prepare me for another week of work.

One of the things which I love to do is to go out with friends and fly my Esky Honey Bee IV 4 Channel Radio Remote Controlled RC Helicopter. This is one thing that gives me some form of relief after a stressful day at work. It helps to feel like a child again and enjoy the simple things in life. Doing these activities allows me to forget about the adult responsibilities and tasks I must face and allow me to de-stress every once in a while.

Level Up

My friends and I have been into RC planes and trucks as far as we could remember. This has been our hobby ever since we were teenage kids, and up until now when we have moved on to work in the industry. It allowed us to enjoy the simple things in life and feel like trouble-free individuals even for a number of hours at a time.

We have gone through absolutely tons of experiments with our RC toys we can no longer keep up with the list. There was even a time when we would be using an RC camera to spy on our neighbors and find out if there were secrets they were keeping which were worth gossiping about. Boys will always be boys like they say, and my friends and I will continue to be the best of friends no matter what.

High Tech

When it comes to my hobbies, I tend to collect a number of gadgets and modern toys which I love to keep around the home. There is something about these devices which never fails to amaze me each time a new one comes up to the market. Most of the time, I would browse on the internet for the newest products to watch out for. This way, I can keep myself updated and get my collection running.

One of my favorite things to collect is RC motorcycles. I have always been enamored about motorcycles, but have never really fully appreciated the convenience of using this mode of transport. I have turned my interest to these machines through RC motorcycles. This way, I would be able to feel the thrill of driving one without necessarily having to worry about the dirt and dust all over me after the ride.
